The HARTFORD COURANT reports this morning that starting UConn cornerback Jasper Howard “died today after an on-campus stabbing.”

According to multiple sources, Howard, 20, was reportedly was stabbed near the student union. State Police major crime unit and UConn police say the stabbing happened just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Hillside Road near the center of campus.
